I’m an award-winning journalist living and working in my native Philadelphia.
You can currently find me writing for WHYY’s NewsWorks.org, a unique publication covering Philadelphia with a hyperlocal angle and a focus on reader interaction; and on NEast Philly, a hyperlocal publication for Northeast Philadelphia I launched in November 2008.
My byline has also appeared in the Fishtown Spirit, Temple Review, Philadelphia Style and Wilmington News Journal. I’ve also worked behind the scenes teaching journalism to high school and college students with Temple University.
My job allows me to see and learn about Philadelphia, which, aside from being my hometown, is also my passion. On any given day you can find me writing, editing and trying to solve the mystery of a city that’s so well-loved and so fiercely hated.
