You can currently find me working as the social media strategist for WHYY’s NewsWorks.org, a unique publication covering Philadelphia with a hyperlocal angle and a focus on reader interaction; and in the Journalism Department at Temple University, where I teach Multimedia Storytelling.
Previously, I ran an online news publication called NEast Philly.
My byline has also appeared in the Fishtown Spirit community newspaper, Temple University alumni magazine, Philadelphia Style and Wilmington News Journal. I also worked behind the scenes teaching journalism to high school and college students with Temple University.
My job allows me to see and learn about Philadelphia, which, aside from being my hometown, is also my passion. On any given day you can find me writing, editing and trying to solve the mystery of a city that’s so well-loved and so fiercely hated.
