I’m an award-winning journalist living and working in my native Philadelphia.

You can currently find me working as the community manager for Billy Penn, a developing news organization that aims to make Philly better; and in the Journalism Department at Temple University, where I teach Multimedia Storytelling.

Previously, I ran an online news publication called NEast Philly and as a news blogger turned social media strategist turned project manager at NewsWorks.

My byline has also appeared in the Fishtown Spirit community newspaper, Temple University alumni magazine, Philadelphia Style and Wilmington News Journal.

My job allows me to see and learn about Philadelphia, which, aside from being my hometown, is also my passion. On any given day you can find me writing, editing and trying to solve the mystery of a city that’s so well-loved and so fiercely hated.
