Hear me on the radio: May 19

I was on the radio today for the first time ever. As part of my job with WHYY/NewsWorks, I’ve been asked to do semi-regular commentary on the media.

Why? Well my 9 to 5 job is the Feed, NewsWorks’ fast-paced blog that breaks news, connects with social media, engages readers and aggregates other media outlets. I’m usually the first to spot trends in the media, so with the launch of NewsWorks Tonight, our new radio show, this segment is a perfect fit for me.

So what you’re hearing in this segment, which aired Thursday, May 19 at 6 p.m. is my public radio debut — after just one practice run. I’ll post here whenever I’m on.
